Makeup - What to and not to do!

If you haven't guessed, on the left is what not to do and the right is what to do. One look's flawless, prom queen material, the other not so much, more like the girl who drunk to much...

So let's dig in and find out the do's and don'ts of makeup on Stardoll:

1. Eyeliner: The bigger the eyeliner wing the more dramatic and heavy it will look, so be careful with it.
2. Eyeshadow: Follow the natural shape of your eyes, stay away from your eyebrows. Lighter colors on the inner part of the lid (using white in the inner corner opens up your eye, making it appear larger), and darker colors on the outer corner. Also it's a good idea to put a  central color (in this case is hot pink) as a statement, where there is a pop of color, making your eyes stand out from the rest of the makeup look.
3. Lipstick: Always use a lipstick that complements the rest of makeup, if you are using bold colors use a bold lipstick like the picture above.
4. Blush: Blush should only go on the apples of the cheeks, never all over it, and use only a tiny bit of product.
5. Contouring: Contour ,with a brown blush, only the area below your cheekbones starting from your ears and ending in the middle of your cheeks. For other contouring areas I personally recommend using stardesign creations or the contour masks from Transform.
6. Mascara: Use either the volume or the normal mascara, never both of them, they combined make the eye look smaller and heavier.
